StarGroup Books Receives International Indie Book Award for Promotional Palm Beach Book

West Palm Beach, FL – May 29, 2019 – West Palm Beach marketing and publishing company, StarGroup International, has announced their latest Palm Beach promotional book, Palm Beach Estates and Lifestyles: The Best of the Best, has received an award from the 2019 Indie Book Awards.

The Next Generation Indie Book Awards is the world’s largest not-for-profit awards program, established to recognize and honor the most exceptional independently published books each year. In the publishing world, the Indie Book Award is equivalent to a Sundance Film Festival Award.

The hardcover book is heavily visual. The photography includes interiors and exteriors of historic award-winning homes, architectural landscaping, and town landmarks. Content about the exclusive island and the legendary Worth Avenue was provided by Laurel Baker, Executive Director of the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce.   In addition, a Walking Tour Map of Palm Beach was featured, courtesy of The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach, detailing the town’s historic buildings and influential architects of the early 20th century.

Brenda Star, StarGroup President and Publisher for two previous Palm Beach focused books, Palm Beach: Faces and Places and Palm Beach’s Most Popular Restaurants, said, “We are thrilled that this book, as well as the professionals that contributed to it, have been recognized with this honor.” 

Longtime Palm Beach real estate broker, Lawrence A. Moens, initiated the project.  Providing clients with significant market expertise, industry contacts, and the utmost in confidentiality, Mr. Moens has represented buyers and sellers in some of the highest priced estate home transactions in Palm Beach history.

Since a significant part of the Palm Beach lifestyle is fundraising, nationally recognized philanthropist and humanitarian, Lois Pope, was included to represent the community’s generous spirit and their critical role in supporting charitable activities.

Thousands of copies of the book were distributed throughout the 2018-2019 season to local companies, individuals, Chambers of Commerce, non-profits, and gala attendees.
