The hardcover, 96 page, 7” x 7” book was designed to introduce tourists and homeowners to Singer Island, an often overlooked piece of paradise right here in the heart of Palm Beach County. The souvenir book showcases the destination’s unique blend of natural beauty and luxury.
“As opposed to a brochure or a website banner, we believe that this is a memorable takeaway piece that will pique the interest of the public”, says StarGroup International president, Brenda Star. “Books tend to take on a life of their own. People either know exactly where they’ve put them for future reference, or they’ve shared them with an interested friend or family member somewhere else in the country.”
Sponsors of the book include the popular Sailfish Marina and Resort located just north of the Inlet on the Lake Worth Lagoon; longtime Singer Island real estate broker, Dermot OBrien of Dermot OBrien Realty; and local beachfront restaurant, Johnny Longboats.
Diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, and boating are some of the most popular activities around Singer Island, and all are dependent upon the health and sustainability of the diverse natural ecosystems. Many non-profit organizations offer a variety of programs for research, rescue, management, public education, and preservation, including the John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, and FPL’s Manatee Lagoon.
